Naveen Industries

Naveen Industries is located in the Iti Ancillary Industrial Estate over in Mahadevapura. Our shed is marked as B/12. It’s a busy place with lots of other small industries and workshops packed in around us. You can hear machines running from the moment we start work in the morning until we close up. We do various industrial tasks here. It’s mostly metalwork and making parts for other companies that need them. The air always has that metallic smell and it gets pretty loud inside the shed. We wear our earplugs most of the time to drown out the noise. The space isn't very pretty to look at, just a functional workshop with some grease on the floor and tools scattered everywhere. We’ve been here for quite a few years now. Some of the guys have been working with us since the very beginning. We usually eat lunch together on the small wooden bench outside when the weather is nice enough. We don't have a marketing team or anyone doing fancy stuff like that. We just do the work that comes in and hope the machines don't break down too often. When something does break, we usually have to fix it ourselves with whatever we have on hand. It’s hard work, and your hands are always dirty by the end of the shift. But it’s what we know how to do. We just keep the production going and try to stay on schedule.
