Our office is actually in Bangalore, specifically at Building No. 8, Flat 8/6 in the Mangalagiri Apartments. We are right on Vasanthapura Main Road, near the Konanguntecross. Even though the name says New Delhi, this is where we do the actual work. It is an apartment setup, so it feels more like a home than a stiff office building. We spend a lot of time on the phone and on our laptops dealing with imports and exports. The Vasanthapura area is usually humming with traffic, so there is always noise from the street coming through the windows. We have a few desks set up in the main room. It gets a bit cluttered with samples and files, but we know where everything is. Our neighbors in the building are mostly families, so we try to keep things relatively quiet. Most of our day is spent tracking shipments and making sure the customs papers are in order. It is a lot of back-and-forth communication. Sometimes things get delayed at the port, and those are the stressful days. But mostly, we just keep a steady pace. We have been here for a bit and have gotten to know the local tea stalls around Konanguntecross pretty well. It is a simple life of trading and logistics. We don’t have a big sign out front or anything. We just do our thing from this flat and try to keep our clients happy with their orders.
