We started Nature Nest over in Rajajinagar 675/3 because we lived close by and saw the space was empty. It isn’t much to look at from the outside, just a regular building, but we’ve tried to make it comfortable enough for whoever walks in. Most of our days are spent checking on the stock and talking to the people who live in the apartments around here. We’re not some big chain with a manual on how to talk to customers. We just say hello and help out if someone needs something. The traffic on this road can be a real headache, but once you step inside, it’s a bit calmer. My wife does a lot of the organizing, and I handle the heavy lifting and the bills. We’ve had some leaks in the roof during the rainy season, which we had to fix ourselves, and the paint is peeling a bit in the corner, but it’s ours. We keep things simple. We don’t spend money on big ads or flyers because word of mouth usually does the job. People know where we are. It’s just a small local business trying to stay afloat and serve the community here. Nothing more, nothing less. If you come by Rajajinagar, you might see us out front. We’ve been here long enough that the regulars don't even need to ask for their usual stuff anymore. It's just a regular part of the street.
