Our salon is located on the first floor of Nikhar Paradise, which sits right on Langford Road. We are quite close to Nanjappa Circle, so that is usually the best landmark to use if you are trying to find us for the first time. The building is a familiar one for people who live in this part of Bangalore. We have a fair number of chairs set up and the usual mirrors you would expect to see in a place like this. Most of our day is spent cutting hair or doing other basic grooming stuff for the people who walk in. It is a decent-sized space, and we try to keep it as tidy as we can despite how busy it gets. The traffic outside on Langford Road can be quite a mess during the rush hours, but it is usually a bit calmer inside the shop. We have been here for a while and have gotten to know a lot of the regulars from the neighborhood. It is just a normal, everyday business for us. We don't have any big corporate speeches to give. We just show up, do our work, and chat with whoever is sitting in the chair. Sometimes we talk about the local news or just how bad the traffic has become lately. The light in the afternoons is quite bright coming through the front windows. It is a simple, honest place where we just get on with our jobs.
