Nandi Switch Board

You can find us at Door No. 4/2 on the 3rd Cross of Magadi Road. We’re on the right side, where the old Venkeswer Textiles used to be. It’s an old building, and you can still see traces of how it used to look. We focus on making switch boards. It’s a lot of cutting, drilling, and putting pieces together. We use different materials depending on what’s needed, but mostly it’s just standard boards for homes or small shops. The workspace is a bit cramped because we have stacks of boards and components everywhere. We’ve got a few workbenches where we sit and do the assembly. It’s not high-tech. We use hand tools and small drills. Sometimes the power goes out on Magadi Road and we have to wait around, but usually, we’re pretty busy. People know us in the neighborhood, so they just drop in when they need a board replaced or a new one made for a project. We don't have a website or anything. We just have our sign outside and the work we do. It’s a bit dusty inside with all the sawing, but we keep the fans going to stay cool. It’s just us doing our thing, making sure the holes are lined up and the switches fit tight. It’s been our routine for a long time now, and we just keep at it day after day.
