Nakshatra Family Restaurant

Our restaurant is called Nakshatra and we are located at number 37 on Dudheshwar Road. It’s near the Bangalore GPO, so it’s an area with a lot of history and old buildings. We consider ourselves a family place because that is who we see most often. Families from the neighborhood come in for lunch or dinner almost every day. We don't have a big fancy menu with hard-to-read names. We just serve the kind of food we grew up eating. The kitchen is always a bit chaotic, with pots bubbling and people shouting orders, but that’s just how a busy restaurant works. We don't have any corporate training manuals. New staff just learn by watching the older ones. The furniture is a bit worn in places, but it's comfortable and people don't seem to mind. We spend a lot of our time making sure the place is clean and that we have enough fresh ingredients for the day. We don't do any promotional events or big sales. We just keep our prices fair and our portions decent. It’s a simple philosophy that has worked for us for a long time. Dudheshwar Road is a busy place, and we are glad to be a small part of it. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out, without making a big fuss about it.
