Naik Constructions.

Our small office is over in Kaazibada, right opposite the old ice factory. Most people in Bijapur know the Badikaman area well, so finding us isn't too hard. We share the space with Abdullah J. Khazi's place. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of history and old stone buildings around. We spend a lot of our time out at sites, but this is where we keep all the tools and files. The dust from the road comes in sometimes when the wind picks up. We’ve got a couple of desks and some chairs for when folks come by to talk about their projects. It's nothing special to look at, just a practical place to run the business. We focus on getting the building work finished without too much fuss. Sometimes we have to wait for supplies to come in from the bigger cities, which can be a headache. The local tea shop nearby is where we usually end up talking through the day's plans. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we try to get the heavy work done before noon. Everyone knows everyone around here, which makes things easier when we need help or extra hands for a job. We've been part of this neighborhood for years. It's just how we live and work in this corner of Karnataka. We don't need much else besides a good roof and some decent work to do. Most days we are just happy to keep busy.
