Nagarjuna Construction Company Limited

We sit in the RBI Layout in Puttenahalli, right around 7th Ase in J.P. Nagar. It is a busy part of Bangalore, but our office at House Number 584 is tucked away enough that we can actually hear ourselves think most of the time. The morning starts early here because if you don't get ahead of the Bangalore traffic, you’re stuck for hours. We spend a lot of our time dealing with suppliers and looking at project maps. It’s not a glamorous spot, just a regular house that we use for Nagarjuna Construction Company Limited operations. The rooms are filled with desks and tall cabinets for all the blueprints and documents. Sometimes the electricity cuts out for a bit, but we just keep working on whatever we can. Our team is a mix of people who have been around for years and some newer faces who are still learning the ropes of the construction trade. We usually have a pot of tea going in the small kitchen area. There is always someone coming in with a stack of papers to be signed or a problem to solve from a job site. It is a lot of coordination and phone calls. We don't have fancy signs or a big lobby. It’s just us working through the daily tasks that come with building things in a growing city. We keep the gate shut most of the day to keep the street noise out, but you can usually hear the typing.
