My Creations

My Creations is situated at c-201 in the Hinduja Lake Front Extace. We are right opposite the police station, which makes it very easy for people to find us when they are visiting. It’s a nice enough spot near the water, though we spend most of our time inside looking at fabrics and thread. The shop is on the smaller side, but we make it work by being organized. Having the police station right across the street keeps the whole area feeling pretty safe and orderly. We started this business because we wanted to work for ourselves and do things our way. It’s mostly just a couple of us doing everything from the cutting to the final packing. Sometimes we get a bit overwhelmed when too many orders come in at the same time. We don't have a big corporate structure or any fancy titles here. We just take it one day at a time. The apartment complex is mostly quiet, which is nice for focusing on the small details of our work. We often have some local music playing in the background to keep us going through the afternoon. Some days the humidity from the lake makes things feel a bit sticky, but we've lived here long enough to be used to it. We don't have a big sign out front, just a small one by the door. People usually just know we're here through word of mouth. We like the pace of life in this part of town and the people who live here.
