Murugendrappa & Co

Murugendrappa & Co is based at 652/C in Rajajinagar, specifically on Rathan Singh Road. We are on the first floor, so you have to walk up a flight of stairs to get to us. The building is an older one, and the office has a very practical feel to it. We don’t have any fancy art on the walls or modern furniture. It’s mostly just sturdy desks and shelves filled with tax law books and client folders. Being in Rajajinagar means we are right in the middle of a very active neighborhood. Rathan Singh Road has its share of traffic and noise, but once you are inside, it is quiet enough to focus on the numbers. We’ve been doing this for a long time. Our routine is pretty much the same every day. We come in, check the folders, and start working on whatever audits or filings are due. We don’t use any corporate jargon or try to sound more important than we are. We are just local accountants. Most of our clients are people we’ve known for years. They come in, sit on the chairs across from us, and we talk through their finances. It’s a very informal way of doing things. Sometimes we have a lot of paperwork to get through, and the desks get a bit messy. We don't worry about it too much as long as the work is correct. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in this part of town.
