Murali and Rao

Murali and Rao is based at 496, 39th Cross in the 8th Block of Jayanagar. It is a residential area, so it feels a lot calmer than the central parts of the city. We have a small gate at the front and a few plants that we try to keep alive, though we sometimes forget to water them when things get really busy. Inside, the office is divided into a few rooms where we have our drafting tables and computers set up. There is usually a radio playing softly in the background, mostly old songs or the local news. We have a lot of physical files because we still like to keep paper records of everything we do. The 8th Block is a good place to be, with wide roads and plenty of shade from the old trees that line the streets. We often see the same neighbors walking their dogs every evening when we are finally finishing up for the day. Our work day usually starts around ten and goes on until the sun goes down, or sometimes later if we have a big deadline. We aren't big on formal meetings; we usually just huddle around someone’s desk to solve problems together. It is a comfortable place to work, and we’ve made ourselves at home here over the years. The furniture is a bit mismatched and old, but it’s sturdy and does the job for us. We just focus on the work.
