Multi Cakes

Multi Cakes is located at JP Nagar Shitole Nagar 49. If you walk past our shop, you’ll probably smell the flour and the sugar before you even see the building numbers. We spend most of our time covered in white dust from the baking supplies. It’s a messy job, but someone has to do it. We don't have a big corporate office or a board of directors watching what we do. It’s just us in the back with the big mixers and the metal trays. Sometimes the oven temperature acts up and we have to keep a close eye on it so nothing gets ruined. We’ve been in Shitole Nagar for a bit and we’ve seen a lot of other shops come and go on this block. We just try to keep things consistent so people know what to expect. We don't use any of those buzzwords you see on social media these days. We just bake the cakes, put them in the display case, and hope people like them enough to buy one for their tea. The floor in the back is always a bit dusty no matter how much we sweep it up. JP Nagar is a busy place and we get a lot of people just dropping in to see what we have ready in the window. We aren't trying to be the biggest bakery in the city. We just want to keep the ovens hot and the orders moving out the door. It’s a simple way to make a living.
