Our office is over in Subramanyanagar, specifically on 7th Main Road in the A Block. Bangalore is a big, loud city and we’re right in the thick of it. We spend our days working on various projects, mostly trying to keep everything on schedule which is harder than it sounds. The space we have at No: 1301/1 is usually filled with rolls of drawings and coffee cups. We aren't the type to use big words or pretend we are something we're not. We’re just a bunch of engineers and staff trying to make sure things get built correctly. It takes a lot of coordination to get a project from a drawing to a finished structure. Sometimes we run into problems with the soil or the local regulations, but that’s just how it goes in this industry. We don't have a mission statement hanging on the wall; we just have a calendar that’s always full. Most of us have been in the construction world for a long time. We know the rhythm of the city and how the rainy season can mess with a timeline. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep our heads down and work. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We’re just local people doing a job that needs doing, right here in the neighborhood. We get a lot of phone calls every day, and we just try to answer them honestly.
