We are over here at Sapthagiri Nivasa, which is basically a house where B.K. Narayanaswamy lives, right on Veera Sagara Road in the Dodda Betta Halli area. It is not a big fancy glass building like you see in the middle of Bangalore city, but we get things done from this corner of Vidyaranyapura. Most days it is just us dealing with the heavy machinery parts and trying to keep everything moving. The road outside can get pretty dusty when the trucks go by, and sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, but that is just part of being in this part of town. We have been around for a while now, handling the L&T-Komatsu side of things for the local sites. People know us as the place to go when they need something specific for their excavators or loaders. It is a bit of a trek to get out here if you are coming from the south of the city, but we like the quiet here compared to the traffic in Silk Board. We usually start early in the morning before it gets too hot. There is a small tea stall just down the street where we all go around eleven to take a break. Our desks are piled with paperwork and diagrams of engine parts. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just us doing the work day in and day out.
