Ms K Cupcakes

Ms K Cupcakes started in a small kitchen here in Electronic City. We aren't one of those massive industrial bakeries you see in the malls. It’s mostly just us, a couple of ovens, and a whole lot of flour and sugar. We spend our early mornings getting the batter ready and making sure the frosting is the right consistency. Working in Electronic City means we see a lot of people heading to their office jobs, and it’s nice when they stop by to grab a treat for their team or a birthday. The air usually smells like vanilla or chocolate around our place, which is probably the best part of the job. We don't use any fancy machines to decorate; everything is done by hand, so no two cupcakes look exactly the same. Sometimes we get a bit overwhelmed when there are big orders, but we manage to get through it. We aren't perfect—sometimes a batch might get a little too brown or we run out of a certain flavor by noon. But we do our best with what we have. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way because we can keep an eye on everything ourselves. Electronic City can feel a bit cold with all the big tech buildings, so we try to make our little corner feel a bit more like home. We’re often covered in flour by ten in the morning.
