Our office is located at Kavuhouse in the village of Kilinjoor. It is out in the Mangalore Taluk area, specifically near the Nadugodu Post. Being situated in a village means we are quite far from the busy streets of the city center. We focus on infrastructure projects, which usually involves a lot of work on roads and local development. It is not a glamorous job. You spend a lot of time in the dirt and the rain, especially with the heavy monsoons we get here in Dakshina Kannada. Kavuhouse is a simple building where we manage the paperwork and the payroll for our workers. We don't have a marketing department or a polished image. Most of our team members are from the nearby villages and they know the local geography better than anyone. We don't spend money on ads or big signs. The work we do is out there for everyone to see. It is a lot of planning around the weather and making sure the machinery is in good shape. We just have a small group of people who know how to get things done. Every morning we meet up, discuss what needs to happen on the site, and then we head out. It is a quiet, practical way of doing business that fits the way people live around here. We just want to build things that last and keep the local infrastructure moving forward.
