Our office is tucked away on C. Muniswappa Road in Bangalore. We go by the name Mpower Infrastructure Solutions Pvt Ltd. The building is called Giri Nilaya. It’s not one of those glass skyscrapers you see in the tech parks. It is just a normal place where we get our work done. Bangalore traffic is a nightmare outside our doors, so we usually start early to beat the rush. We handle different types of infrastructure projects. It involves a lot of looking at drawings and talking to contractors on the phone. The office is usually a bit of a mess with files and rolls of paper. We have a small kettle for making tea, which we do often. It is a small team here. We don’t have a receptionist or fancy lounge. If you walk in, you’ll just see us working at our desks. Sometimes we are out at project sites for days. Karnataka is a big place, so we travel quite a bit. We just try to do a decent job and make sure everything is built right. We have been here for several years now. It’s a practical kind of life. We don't spend money on big advertisements. People usually hear about us from other folks we have worked with. It’s just us, working hard in this corner of the city every day. It gets loud and dusty, but we don't mind much.
