We've been over here on Margosa Road for a while now. It's the 8th Cross in Jayanagar 1st Block. Most people around here know the area pretty well. We do architecture work, and the office usually reflects that. It gets a bit messy with blueprints, old rolls of paper, and coffee cups everywhere on the desks. We spend a lot of our time hunched over site plans or looking at computer screens. It’s just a small team of us working here. We deal with all sorts of buildings. Some are just regular houses for families, and others are office spaces or small shops. It’s hard work sometimes, especially when the weather is bad and we have to go out to visit sites that are still just piles of dirt and bricks. We try to get things done right the first time, but there are always hiccups. The traffic in Jayanagar can be a real nightmare in the evenings, so we usually end up staying late just to avoid the worst of it. Mostly, we just focus on drawing and figuring out how everything is going to fit together. It’s not always as glamorous as people think. There is a lot of boring paperwork and filing that needs to be done. We talk to contractors a lot. Sometimes they listen to what we say, and other times they just do their own thing. That’s just how it goes in this business. We like the neighborhood, though.
