Motorola India Ltd, Global Software Group

We are the Global Software Group for Motorola India Ltd, and you can find us at 661, 4th Main, 5th Cross in Hanumanthanagar. This part of Bangalore is mostly residential, so our office building stands out a little bit. It is a bit of a maze to get here if you are not familiar with the crosses and mains of the neighborhood. The office itself is full of computers and whiteboards. We spend most of our time staring at code and trying to figure out software problems. It is a very quiet atmosphere compared to the main roads. Sometimes you can hear birds outside, which is nice for a change. We have a small pantry where people make coffee and talk about things other than work. The furniture is functional, nothing too modern or expensive. We have a lot of meetings, but they are usually just us sitting around a desk talking about the next project. Bangalore traffic is a nightmare, so many of us arrive at different times depending on the bus or the commute. We have been in this building for a while and the neighborhood has changed quite a bit around us. There are more shops now than there used to be. It feels like a local spot even though we are part of a larger company. We just do our work and go home to our families.
