We are over in Vidyaranyapura, located in the BEL Layout area of Bangalore. Our daily life revolves around floor plans, paint samples, and timber swatches. Being interior decorators means we spend a lot of time in our cars, traveling between the office and various job sites around the city. The office is usually a bit of a mess with blueprints spread out and different material samples piled up on the tables. It is a busy environment because there is always a deadline looming or a contractor who needs a question answered right away. We work with a lot of different carpenters, electricians, and painters to get the jobs done. Sometimes things don't go exactly to plan—a shipment of tiles might be delayed or a color doesn't look quite right under the house lights—but we just figure it out. We aren't some high-end studio with a fancy lobby; we are practical people who know how to get a room finished. Most of our clients are local residents looking to fix up their homes or offices. It is hard work and involves a lot of dust and noise, but seeing a project finally come together is what keeps us going. We just take it one room at a time and try to stay on top of the details. There’s always someone coming in or out with a tape measure or a set of sketches.
