People often get lost trying to find us since the Bhaji Market over here in Banashankari 2nd Stage is always so packed with carts and people. We have been sitting here at Shivaji Chowk for quite a while now. Most days it is just us figuring out how to make a room look better or picking out fabrics that don’t show dirt too easily. It gets loud outside with the vendors shouting, but we just keep our heads down and get on with the measurements. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a place where we keep our samples and drawing boards. Sometimes the dust from the road gets everywhere, so we spend half the morning just wiping things down before the first person walks in. We don’t really have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the tools and talk to the guys who do the heavy lifting. If you come by in the afternoon, you might catch us having tea while staring at a pile of wood offcuts. It is just basic work, really. We take a look at a space, think about what fits, and try not to make a mess of things. There is always something to fix or a shelf that needs moving around. It is a bit cramped in here with all the catalogues, but it works for what we do.
