Model Polytechnic Ihrd

Model Polytechnic Ihrd is situated at 4/3, Kolar Road, which some of the older folks still call Old Madras Road. It’s a busy stretch of road, and there is always a lot of dust and noise from the traffic passing by. The building is a bit older, and it has that functional feel you expect from a place where people come to learn technical skills. We have labs and classrooms where students spend most of their day. It’s not a fancy campus with manicured lawns, but it serves the purpose for everyone coming from the surrounding areas. I usually get here early in the morning before the sun gets too high. You can see the students walking down Kolar Road from the bus stop, carrying their bags and talking about their upcoming exams. We’ve had some issues with the plumbing in the past, but we get it fixed when it happens. The walls are covered in notices and old posters about various technical workshops. It’s a bit of a maze inside if you aren’t used to it. We keep things pretty straightforward here. There is no big reception desk with a person in a suit. Usually, you just find someone in the hallway or one of the staff rooms if you need help with something. It’s a place where people work hard and try to figure out their future careers. The location on Old Madras Road makes it easy for people to find us, even if the traffic is a bit much.
