Basavanagudi is an old part of Bangalore with a lot of trees, and our clinic is on Mosque Road. We’re near Arumugam Circle and Southend Circle, right opposite East West School. It’s a nice spot, though the parking can be tricky when school lets out. Our place at No. 72 is where we deal with skin and hair concerns. It’s not a spa; it’s a clinic where people come with real issues they want looked at. The staff spends their time setting up the rooms and making sure the tools are clean. We have a lot of people from the neighborhood walking in, asking questions about some rash or hair fall. The waiting room isn’t very big, so it feels quite cozy sometimes. We don’t have a lot of posters on the walls, just the essentials. Most of the day is spent listening to patients and writing down notes. The street outside has a lot of history, and we feel like a small part of it. We try to keep the atmosphere calm inside because the city outside can be quite loud and dusty. It’s just a regular clinic where we do our best to stay organized and help the people who live around here. We open up in the morning, do the consultations, and then lock up in the evening once the last person has left. It is a simple life for everyone working here.
