Being in this part of Bangalore means we are used to the busy streets and the constant activity outside our door. Minwool Rock Fibres Ltd has its operations running from this small building. It isn't a large place, just enough room for the desks we need and a few chairs for when people come by. The 13th Cross can get pretty crowded during the rush hours, so getting here in the morning is always a bit of a challenge with the traffic. Inside, it is a different story. We keep things pretty simple. There are no mission statements on the walls or corporate posters. We just have our calendars and some lists of what needs to be done. Most of the work involves talking to people about insulation and making sure the orders are processed correctly. It’s the kind of job where you are always on the phone or typing something into an old computer. We take our breaks when we can, usually heading out to the local bakery for a quick snack. The office has a bit of a lived-in feel, with stacks of paper and empty tea cups here and there. It is just an honest place to work where we get things done without making a big deal about it. We finish up in the evening and do it all again the next day.
