Military Engineering Service

We are based in the Camp area of Belgaum, right at the Cantonment Office. You can find us by looking for Samuel N. Gudipati’s place. Belgaum is a nice town, and the Cantonment area has a lot of trees and space compared to the city center. Our office is a straightforward Military Engineering Service setup. We don't have any of those modern glass walls or shiny floors. It’s more about sturdy tables, old fans, and plenty of ledgers. We handle the local engineering tasks that come up in this region. It’s a practical job and we are practical people. Most of us have been in this line of work for a long time. We know the local contractors and the geography of the area pretty well. There isn't much in the way of a lobby, you just walk in and talk to whoever is at the desk. We don't use big words or try to sell ourselves. The work is assigned to us, and we make sure it gets done. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out or work by the windows. It’s a slow and steady pace here. We like the community feel of the Camp. It’s a good place to be stationed and we just focus on the day’s list of tasks. It is not complicated, just part of the daily grind.
