Mil,Bangalore

We are situated over on Dhodathogur Road, which is right by the Electronic City Post in Bangalore. If you know this part of the city, you know how the traffic can get, especially during the shift changes at the big tech parks. We’re a bit different from those giant companies though. Our office for Mil, Bangalore is run largely through the efforts of P. Vidyadhar, who looks after the administration and liaison work. It’s a busy role and there is always some paperwork or government office to deal with. We don’t have a massive building with a cafeteria or anything like that. It’s more of a functional space where we handle the logistics and the back-and-forth communication. The area around Dhodathogur has changed so much lately with new buildings going up everywhere. Sometimes it feels like the dust never settles. We just focus on our specific tasks and try to stay organized amidst all the growth happening in Bangalore. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations or expensive office furniture. Most of our day is spent on the phone or working through files. It’s a practical way to operate. We’ve been at this location for a while now and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. It’s not always glamorous, but it is steady work. We’re just local people trying to keep things running smoothly from our little corner of Electronic City every single day.
