You can find us on the first floor of No. 1/1 on Middle School Cross Road. It’s a busy little stretch of road. Being on the first floor gives us a bit of a view of the street, though mostly it’s just bikes and people walking to the shops nearby. Aaron Lights has been here for a bit now. We deal with all kinds of lighting fixtures. The showroom isn't huge, but we pack it with as many samples as we can. You might have to watch your head in a few spots where the bigger lamps are hanging. We spend a lot of time unboxing things or testing bulbs to make sure they actually turn on. It gets a bit dusty with all the cardboard boxes moving in and out, so we spend the first hour of the day just cleaning up. There’s a school nearby, so it gets quite noisy when the kids are heading home. We usually just keep the door open to let some air in. It’s a simple operation. We help people find the right bulb or a fixture that fits their room. Nothing too complicated. Most of the regulars are from the surrounding streets. We know the tea seller downstairs pretty well. It’s just a normal workplace where we handle lights and talk to the neighbors. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing plan. We just open up the shop and see who comes in today.
