Mersen India Pvt Ltd is situated at 5 Bommasandra Industrial Area, 1St Block. This part of Bangalore is always moving, and we are right in the thick of it. Our facility is a large shed-like structure where we handle industrial components. It’s a practical space designed for work, not for looking pretty. The floors are concrete and marked with lines for safety and storage. We have a lot of heavy equipment and workers in uniforms moving about all day. The noise is constant—clinking metal and the sound of heavy fans. Because we are in the first block, we see a lot of the local truck traffic coming in and out. The mornings are usually spent on safety briefings and getting the machines warmed up. We don't have a fancy lobby with flowers; instead, you’ll find racks of parts and technical drawings pinned to the walls. Our staff comes from all over the city, and many of them have been here since the early days. We eat in the small canteen area and talk about the weekend or the local news. It’s the kind of place where your hands stay dirty most of the shift. We produce things that other industries need to keep their own machines running. It’s a basic, essential part of the supply chain. We just keep our heads down and do the work that is expected of us every day.
