Mectron Dental India Private Limited

Down here in the Doddaballapura Industrial Estate, things move at a certain pace. We are located at Plot No. 48-A2 in Yellupura Hobli. Mectron Dental India is where we spend our hours dealing with tools for dentists. It’s a different kind of environment than the heavy factories nearby because everything we handle is so small and precise. You have to have steady hands for this kind of work. The commute out here can be a bit of a trek depending on where you're coming from, but once you get inside, it’s a lot quieter than the main road. We’ve got benches lined up with various components and everyone is usually focused on their own task under the bright lights. It’s not the kind of place where people are shouting across the room. We take our lunch breaks together in the small area out back near the trees. Sometimes we talk about work, but mostly we just talk about what’s happening at home or the traffic on the way in. The industrial estate has its own rhythm, and we’ve become part of it over the years. We keep the inventory organized as best as we can, though sometimes the small parts get mixed up in the bins despite our labels. It’s a lot of staring through magnifiers and making sure the metal is polished right. It’s good work, and it’s important, even if it’s just small bits of steel and electronics that most people never see.
