In Bangalore, we have another office over at No 96, 2nd Main Sampige Layout. This is in the Prashanth Nagar area of Vijayanagar. It’s a pretty well-known part of the city, and being in a layout like Sampige means we are surrounded by houses and small shops. Maytas Infra Pvt Ltd has been here for a bit, using this location as a base for our teams working on the western side of Bangalore. The office is a bit old-fashioned, with wooden desks and a lot of paper everywhere. We aren't really into the modern open-plan office style. We prefer having our own corners to focus on the numbers and the drawings. There’s a small tea shop just down the street where we usually go during breaks. The pace here is steady. We handle a lot of the local coordination and permit work from this desk. It’s not a shiny place with lots of glass; it’s a working office where people actually get their hands dirty with project details. The traffic in Vijayanagar can be a headache, so we usually start our day pretty early to beat the rush. We don't put on a show for anyone. If you come by, you’ll just see us working on our computers or talking on the phone with site supervisors. It’s a practical place for practical work. We stay focused on the projects and try to avoid the city noise as much as possible.
