If you head up to the second floor at 892, 6th Cross Gokul in Mathikere, that’s where you’ll find us. We’re in a busy part of Bangalore, which means the noise from the traffic is pretty much constant. Maytas Infra Ltd is the company, and we focus on infrastructure work across the city and beyond. Being on the second floor means we get a bit of a view of the street, but mostly we’re just looking at computer screens or project binders. The office is a bit cramped, honestly. We’ve got files stacked in corners and some old equipment that we probably should have replaced years ago. But it gets the job done. We don’t go for any of that high-tech startup vibe you see in other parts of Bangalore. We’re more of a boots-on-the-ground type of operation. Our team is pretty small, and everyone knows what they need to do. Some days the lift doesn't work, so we get our exercise on the stairs. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people. We deal with the usual headaches of construction—permits, materials, and deadlines. We don’t promise anything impossible; we just do the work we’re contracted for. It’s a noisy, busy place, but we like the energy of Mathikere and being right in the middle of everything.
