We are over here in Jaibharathi Nagar, specifically on 16th Cross. It’s right near the Amman Temple, so we hear the bells and the morning prayers pretty often while we get things ready. The street is usually busy with people walking by, and we’ve been at this spot in Bangalore for a while now. Maya Organic is basically us making things, mostly wooden stuff and crafts, using those old traditional ways. It gets dusty sometimes. We spend a lot of time checking the finishes and making sure the wood feels right. The office isn't anything fancy, just some desks and shelves filled with pieces we’re working on. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just keep going. It’s a bit of a maze to find us if you don’t know the temple street, but once you’re here, it’s just a normal workplace. We drink a lot of tea from the stall around the corner. The guys here have been working together for years, so we don't need to say much to get the job done. We just focus on the handiwork. It’s quiet work mostly, except for the sanding machines or when the delivery truck tries to squeeze through the narrow lane. We like being in this part of town because it feels like a real neighborhood, not just some glass building in a tech park. It suits what we do.
