Matching Men

Matching Men is over in Basavanagudi at number 168 on Subbarama Chetty Road. We are right near Netakallapa Circle, which is a very old and famous part of Bangalore. Our place is directly opposite the Karnataka Bank Ltd. Basavanagudi has a very different feel compared to the newer parts of the city. It is more traditional and the 560004 area has a lot of old trees and heritage. The traffic at the circle can be quite messy during the rush hours. We see the bank customers coming and going all day. Subbarama Chetty Road is a busy stretch but it has a nice local atmosphere. Our building is simple and doesn't stand out too much. We like it that way. It is a practical space for us to work in. We have lived and worked around here for a long time. You can find almost anything you need within walking distance. The morning air here is actually quite nice before the buses start piling up at the circle. We don't have a big corporate setup. It is just us in a plain room on a busy street. We know the regular faces who walk by every day. It feels like being part of a real neighborhood. We are just here doing our job across from the bank. It takes us about twenty minutes to get things ready in the morning. Sometimes the mailman stops by for a quick chat. That’s just how our day starts here in Bangalore.
