Mast Kalandar Restaurant

We have been here on CMH Road in Indira Nagar for a while now. It gets really busy around lunch, and the kitchen gets pretty hot. Most of us have been working together for a few years, so we know how to handle the rush. We mostly make North Indian food because that is what people around here look for. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud you can’t hear the orders, but we manage. We aren’t fancy. The chairs are just chairs and the tables are just tables. We spend a lot of time chopping vegetables and making sure the spice mixes are right. Some days are harder than others, especially when it rains and everyone wants to come in at the same time. The guy who delivers the groceries usually comes early in the morning, and that is when the day starts for us. We just try to get the food out fast so nobody is waiting too long on their break. Sometimes we run out of certain things by evening because we only cook so much in the morning. It's just a regular place where you can get a meal without any fuss. We like being in Indira Nagar because there are always people walking by. We don't have a big corporate office or anything. It’s just us here at number 33, trying to keep the kitchen running smoothly every day.
