Maruthi Pet Clinic

Our pet clinic is over at Plot No 238 in Main Binny Layout, not too far from Priyadarshani School in Vijaya Nagar. It’s a place where you’ll hear barking or meowing pretty much all day long. We started this clinic because we noticed there weren't many places nearby for people to bring their dogs and cats for checkups. The space isn't huge, but we have an exam table and a small area for grooming and shots. The walls have a few scratches here and there from some of our more energetic patients. We see all sorts of pets, mostly dogs of every size and a fair number of cats too. Sometimes a bird or a rabbit shows up, which keeps things interesting. The floor is easy to clean, which is a necessity when you have animals running around. It can get a bit loud when two dogs who don't like each other meet in the waiting room, so we try to keep things moving quickly. We keep a stock of pet food and some medicines on the shelves. It’s a simple, local spot where neighbors bring their furry friends when they are feeling sick or just need their yearly vaccinations. We don't have any high-tech gadgets, just the basics to make sure the animals are healthy. It's often a bit messy with hair and paw prints, but we like it that way. We just do our best to take care of the local animals.
