We are up on the eleventh floor of Mittal Towers on M.G. Road. Being in unit 1101 `B means we get a pretty decent view of the street below, though we don't spend much time looking out the window. There is always a device that needs checking or an instrument that needs calibrating. Martins Businesspagesctronic Devices And Instruments is a small operation, really. We handle a lot of technical equipment that most people wouldn't even recognize. The office is usually quiet, except for the occasional beep from a machine being tested. M.G. Road is a busy place to be, but once you get up in the elevator, it’s like a different world. We’ve got shelves full of manuals and old instruments that we still use because they work better than the new ones. It’s not a flashy setup. We prefer it being functional. If a tool works, we keep it. People come to us when they have a technical problem they can't figure out on their own. We spend a lot of time troubleshooting. Sometimes we get it right away, other times it takes a few days of poking around. It’s just how it goes with electronics. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the devices we send out are doing what they are supposed to. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening.
