MARRACOAT

We are based out at Survey No.121/1 in Beemanakuppe, which is part of Ramohalli Grama. It is a bit of a drive out of the main city, and the surroundings are much greener and quieter than the industrial zones. MARRACOAT is our small operation here. We specialize in different types of coatings. The facility is basically a large shed with the right equipment for spraying and drying. Because we are in a more rural area, we have a bit more space, but getting supplies delivered can sometimes be a challenge on the narrow roads. The air is a bit fresher here, which is nice when you are working with paints and chemicals all day. We have to be careful about the dust, so we keep the coating area as clean as possible. There are about four of us working here most days. We usually start early to beat the heat. The work is mostly manual, preparing surfaces and making sure the finish is smooth. It takes a lot of patience. Sometimes we have tea breaks outside under the big neem tree near the gate. It is a peaceful way to work compared to the crowded city areas. We don't have a website or anything like that; people usually find us through word of mouth or by following the directions to the Grama. It is a simple life out here, and we like being away from the heavy traffic.
