Mark's Kitchen

Mark's Kitchen is tucked away in Koramangala. It isn't a massive restaurant with a hundred tables, but it is where we do all our cooking. The kitchen gets pretty hot, especially during the lunch rush when everyone is hungry at the same time. We don't have a fancy menu with words you can't pronounce. It is just good food made by people who like to eat. We started this because we wanted to have a place of our own in the neighborhood. Koramangala is a lively place with a lot of energy, and we enjoy being part of that. You won't find us using a lot of marketing tricks to get people in the door. Usually, people just smell the food and wander in, or they heard about us from a neighbor. We have a small staff and we all do a bit of everything, from chopping vegetables to washing the dishes at the end of the night. It is a lot of work and our feet usually hurt by the time we close up. But it feels good to see people enjoying a meal we made. We don't have any big grand plans to open twenty more locations. We just want to keep the one we have running well. It is a local spot for local people, and that is all we ever really wanted it to be. We are just here cooking and serving.
