Marg Constructions

Marg Constructions is located at No.6/6 on E.V.R. 2nd Cross Street in the E.V.R. Colony of Puzhuthivakkam, Chennai. The office is basically a house that we’ve converted for our use. It has a very local feel to it, sitting in a residential street where people know their neighbors. There’s a small gate that squeaks every time you open it. Inside, the rooms are filled with rolls of drawings and old files related to our building projects. We don’t have any leather sofas or glass meeting rooms. We mostly sit around a large wooden table that’s seen better days. The atmosphere is very casual. We often have people coming in with muddy boots after visiting a construction site. We don't worry much about the decor or making things look professional for visitors. It’s more important to us that the work gets planned correctly. In the afternoons, the house can get a bit warm, so we keep the windows open to let the breeze in. We aren't big on writing about ourselves or making promises about being the best. We just take on one project at a time and see it through. It’s a very humble way of operating, and that’s what we’ve been doing in Chennai for years. There’s no marketing fluff here, just people working on buildings and making sure the supplies arrive at the sites on time.
