Manju Chemical Corps

Started the business here in Basaveshwara Nagar inside Ajit Industrial Estate. It’s a busy spot with trucks coming in and out all day. We deal with various chemical supplies, mostly industrial stuff that people need for their manufacturing work. My desk is usually covered in papers and invoices. We’ve been at building 125 for a while now. The neighborhood has changed, but the work stays the same. People drop by looking for specific batches or asking if we have something in stock. Sometimes it’s quiet, other times everyone wants something at once. It gets hot in the afternoons under the metal roof. We just keep the inventory moving and try to stay organized. It’s not fancy work, just basic supplying. Most of our neighbors in the industrial estate know us by now. We spend a lot of time checking containers and making sure things are labeled right. It's mostly about showing up and getting the orders sorted. If you walk down the lane past the main gate, you’ll find us easily. There is always a smell of something being processed nearby. We have a couple of guys who help with the heavy lifting and loading the small vans. That’s pretty much how it goes here every day from morning till the shutters go down. We usually take a break around four for tea from the stall at the corner. The traffic on the main road can be a headache for the delivery drivers but they manage. We just keep at it.
