Manipal Hospital Departmentt Neuro Surgery

This particular part of the hospital, the Neuro Surgery department, is located over at Rustom Bagh on Airport Road. It’s a specific wing where things feel a bit more focused than in the main lobby. Even though we are part of the larger Manipal Hospital complex, we have our own routine back here. The halls are a bit narrower and the noise from the street is a bit more muffled. We don’t use any marketing fluff to explain what we do. It’s a department where surgeons and nurses spend long hours doing some pretty difficult work. Most of us have been in this field for a while, so we don't get excited about fancy titles or corporate branding. We just focus on the charts and the cases in front of us. The breakroom usually has a half-empty pot of coffee and someone catching up on their notes. We see people at some of the most stressful times in their lives, so we try to keep things calm and straightforward. No one here is trying to sell you anything. We are just here to do the job we were trained for. Rustom Bagh is a nice enough area, though getting in and out during peak hours is always a bit of a challenge for the staff. We’ve been at this address for a long time, and we’re just a small part of the bigger picture here on Airport Road, keeping our heads down.
