MANGALDEEP LIGHTS

Our shop is located at 62 Kilari Road, right where it crosses with BVK Iyengar Road. This area is famous for being incredibly busy and cramped, but that’s just the charm of this part of the city. We have been here for years. It’s a small place, packed with all sorts of lights and fixtures. There isn't much room to move around once a few customers walk in. We spend our days climbing ladders and pulling boxes down from high shelves. The street outside is always full of carts, shoppers, and bikes. It’s noisy and loud, but we don't really notice it anymore. We start our day early, sweeping the front and getting the displays ready. We don't have a website or a big social media presence. Most people just find us by walking past or because their father used to buy from us. We drink a lot of coffee from the guy who comes around with the thermos. It’s a very old-school way of doing business. There is no air conditioning, so we rely on the ceiling fans to keep us cool. We keep a ledger for everything because that’s how we’ve always done it. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. If you are looking for lights and don't mind the crowd of Kilari Road, you’ll find us there at the cross. We usually stay open until the market starts to wind down.
