Mangaldeep Glass House

Our shop, Mangaldeep Glass House, is tucked away in Sonigara Sadan on 24th Cross, just off Killari Road. It's a busy area, lots of people moving about all the time. We have all sorts of glass here, from thin sheets to thick ones for tables. You have to be careful walking around because everything is fragile. We’ve had a few accidents over the years, but that's just part of the business. My dad started this place, and I took over later on. We don't have fancy lights or a big display window. It’s more of a workshop feel. We spend our days cutting glass to size and smoothing down the edges. It’s precise work. If you’re off by even a few millimeters, the glass won’t fit. We get a lot of local builders and people fixing up their homes. The address 41432 is where we spend most of our waking hours. It’s noisy with the sounds of cutting and the traffic outside. We keep things simple. You bring your measurements, we do the work. We aren't trying to be a big corporation. We just want to make sure the glass fits and the customer is okay with it. Sometimes we have tea with the regulars while they wait. It’s a small, dusty place, but it’s ours. We’ve been on Killari Road for ages and know the neighbors well. We've got those old-fashioned ledgers and we use a pencil behind the ear sometimes.
