Operating out of the Peenya Industrial Area, we have our setup at Matru Smruti 1. This part of Bangalore is always humming with the sound of machinery and trucks moving in and out. It’s an industrial life for us at Mallar Group Of Industries. We spend most of our time on the shop floor or in the small office space we have attached to the side. It’s dusty and loud, but that’s where the work gets done. We don’t have a lot of time for sitting around talking about things like missions or fancy strategies. We just look at what needs to be manufactured and we figure out the best way to do it with the tools we have. Some of the machines have been with us for years and they need a bit of coaxing now and then. The traffic in Peenya can be a real headache during shift changes, so we’ve learned to be patient. We have a small crew and everyone knows their job. It’s not a corporate environment by any means. We wear work boots and carry lunch boxes. Sometimes things break down and we have to stay late to fix them, but that’s part of the trade. If you come by looking for us, you’ll probably find someone covered in grease or busy with a clipboard. We just keep our heads down and stay focused on the tasks we have.
