We’ve been here at 146, 3rd Cross in East Jayanagar for a while now. It’s a busy part of Bangalore, and 1st Block is always moving with people. Most folks know us for the jewelry and gemstones we keep in the shop. We started Malabar Jewels&Gems(P)Ltd as a small family thing years ago. You can usually find us behind the counter or answering the phone when it rings. We have two numbers listed, 9448009245 and the landline 08026632350, though the mobile is usually better if we are busy with a customer. If we don’t pick up right away, we also use Bhuzail2001@Yahoo.Com for emails. It’s just us doing our thing every day. People come in looking for something specific, maybe a gift for a wedding or a stone for a ring, and we show them what we have in stock. The shop isn't fancy, just a regular place where we work. We try to keep things simple and honest. Jayanagar is a nice neighborhood and we’ve gotten to know the regulars over the years. Some days are quieter than others, but that is just how it goes in the jewelry trade. If you are around the 3rd Cross area, you’ll see our sign out front. We don't do much advertising, mostly just people walking in or calling to ask if we have a certain gem. We have been using that same Yahoo email for ages now. It works fine for us. We just handle the daily business and try to keep everything running.
