If you know Chickpet, you know how crowded it gets. We are located in the Sri Lakshmi Complex on Purnesachar Lane. It’s on the first floor, units 7 and 8. Finding us can be a bit tricky because the lanes are so narrow and there are so many signs. We are right behind the Khalil Building. Every morning, we have to navigate through the crowds and the carts just to get the shop open. We deal with medical supplies, so there are always boxes being moved up and down the stairs. It’s a busy life here in the heart of the market. We don't have a lot of space, so we have to be very organized with our stock. Most of our customers are people we’ve known for decades. We don't really do fancy advertising; word of mouth in the cross lanes is how people find us. The office area is just a small corner with a couple of chairs and a lot of ledgers. It gets quite loud with all the shouting from the street, but you get used to it. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for deliveries to arrive. It’s an honest business, and we just try to keep the right medicines in stock for the people who rely on us. It’s not polished, but it’s how we’ve always done it. We just keep our heads down and manage the stock.
