We are over at No.12 on Lavelle Road, right in the Chikuwadi area near the Shimpoli Link Road. Mahaveer Tyers is basically just a shop filled with piles of rubber and the strong smell of new treads. It is a bit of a tight squeeze with all the stock we have to keep inside, but we make it work. The floor is usually a bit dirty because of the tires coming in and out all day, but that is expected in this line of work. We spend most of our time outside or in the bay area. It is a loud place, especially when the tools are running or a heavy truck is idling right outside the door. The traffic on the link road is constant, so there is always someone stopping by to check their air pressure or ask about a replacement. We do not have a fancy waiting room with a coffee machine or anything like that. Usually, people just stand around or sit on the bench while we finish up the work. It is just honest labor. We have been in this spot for a bit, and the locals know where to find us. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to work outside, but we just push through it. We keep a ledger for the sales and try to stay on top of the inventory, though it is easy to lose track when things get hectic in the afternoon. It is just a regular tire shop run by people who know their way around a wheel.
