We’ve been here at Mahadevapura for quite a while now. The address says V-Id in the NGEF Ancillary Estate, which sounds complicated but it's just a regular industrial spot in Bangalore. Traffic around here gets pretty bad during peak hours, especially with all the new construction, but we manage. Most of us get in early to avoid the worst of it. Sometimes the power goes out, though it's better than it used to be years ago. We have a lot of regulars who know exactly where to find us in the estate. It’s mostly just people coming in, doing their shifts, and heading home. We’ve got a small tea stall just down the road where everyone gathers during breaks. It’s funny how a place becomes so familiar after you spend years walking the same floors. We don't really do much in terms of fancy decorations or big signs. The work speaks for itself, I guess. It’s loud sometimes because of the machinery and the trucks moving in and out of the estate. The rain last week made the road a bit messy, but that's just part of being in this area of Karnataka. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with whatever needs doing next on the schedule. Our old gate squeaks every time someone opens it, which is quite often.
