You can find us up on the second floor of the industrial estate in Rajajinagar. D-103 is our little corner of Bangalore. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, especially when we’re carrying heavy parts, but we’re used to it by now. The space is filled with magnets, wires, and a whole lot of metal shavings. We do a lot of custom work here. It’s not a factory line where everything is the same. Every project usually has its own set of problems to solve. We spend a lot of time talking over the worktables, trying to figure out why a particular piece isn’t fitting right. The windows look out over the rest of the estate, which is always humming with activity. We like it here because it feels like a place where things actually get made. Our desks are usually covered in sketches and scrap metal. We aren't the type to wear suits. Most of us have grease under our fingernails by lunch. We just focus on the technical side of things. If a magnet isn't pulling right or a piece of steel is off by a millimeter, we start over. It’s tedious but necessary. We've been in Rajajinagar for a while, and we know the other shop owners nearby. It’s a good community of people who just want to get their work done. We don't have a big front office, just a bell at the door and a lot of work going on inside.
