Magna Multimedia

Belathur is where we ended up setting up shop. If you know Bangalore, you know it is getting crowded everywhere, but this area still feels a bit different. We do multimedia work here, which means we spend way too much time staring at screens and editing things for Magna Multimedia. The office is not very big, and sometimes the internet acts up when it rains, which is just part of living in this city. We started out small and stayed that way. There are cables everywhere and speakers sitting on old desks. We usually have a lot of tea to stay awake during long editing sessions. It is not a fancy studio with soundproofing on every inch of the wall, but we make it work with what we have. Most of us live within a few kilometers because commuting across Bangalore is a nightmare. You can hear the construction noise from the new apartments going up nearby. It gets a bit dusty with all the building happening around Belathur. We do not have a receptionist or a big waiting room. If you come by, you will probably just see us sitting around a laptop or talking about a project over a plastic table. It is a simple life. We like the work, even when the software crashes or the power fluctuates. It is just a regular small business trying to get things done in a busy corner of the city. We keep things pretty informal and do not worry about looking corporate.
